The short version
You can play without an account, a name or an email. We collect gameplay data to make the game better, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time at iabo7mood@gmail.com.
Who we are
Agent Prompting Human is a free browser game made by ia7dev. For anything about your data, email iabo7mood@gmail.com.
What we collect
- A random player ID. Your browser makes it up and keeps it, so your progress and your leaderboard row stay yours. It contains nothing about you.
- How you play. Which prompts you play, your clicks (they're the tokens), your times, the hints you use and how long you play. We also record replays of the game screen to see where players get stuck. Anything you type into a box is hidden in those replays.
- Your leaderboard name, if you sign an invoice. It's shown publicly on the leaderboard, so don't use your real name unless you want to.
- Your email, only if you join the waitlist and tick the box agreeing to this policy.
- Basic technical details: browser, device type, screen size, the site that sent you, and a rough location (country and city) worked out from your IP address.
What we use it for
- Running the game, your saved progress and the leaderboards, and keeping cheated scores off them.
- Seeing which prompts are too hard, too easy or confusing, so we can fix them.
- Emailing waitlist members when new prompts are ready to play. That's the only email you'll get from us.
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share your data with anyone except the services below that run the game for us.
Services that help run the game
- Cloudflare hosts the game and stores the leaderboards and the waitlist. It sees your IP address when you visit, to deliver and protect the site, and gives us anonymous visit counts.
- PostHog (servers in the United States) stores the gameplay data and replays described above.
- Google Fonts sends the game's fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
Cookies and storage
The game keeps your player ID, progress and sound settings in your browser's local storage. PostHog keeps its own small cookie and storage to tell visits apart. There are no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Gameplay data and leaderboard rows stay while the game is running, unless you ask us to delete them. Waitlist emails stay until the new prompts launch or you ask us to remove yours.
Your choices
- See or delete your data: email iabo7mood@gmail.com. Tell us your leaderboard name or your waitlist email so we can find it.
- Leave the waitlist: email us and we'll remove you.
- Start fresh: clear this site's data in your browser settings. You'll get a new player ID.
Kids
The game isn't made for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us an email, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
